A little history behind COAT THE COMMUNITY
In 2004, Scott and The Bechtel Group decided to put our efforts behind a project that would serve our local community. After investigating many options, we decided to undertake one that was not being offered locally and one that could become an annual event. With fairly cold winters in our community, we decided that recycling coats to those in need seemed to be a perfect "fit" for our community service project.
Thus, the idea for "Coat the Community" was born.
